I am thinking of swapping intakes and I was looking at the other thread and people where discussing intakes and issues with HEI. I know the Victor Jr and the Edelbrock Air Gap work. What other options do I have ? Just trying to have as many choices as possible.

You really don't want a Vic Jr on the street. No bottom end to speak of. Especially on a stock motor. Anther good intake is Ford's A321, which is a current remake of the older "Cobra" highrise, C9OX, Edelbrock F4B ( these are all basically the same intakes) I've got one on the warmed up roller 5.0 in my 89 Ranger and its an excellant intake. It's currently topped with a 3310 Holley 750 (which is a mite too big for the motor, but it's all I got for now) HEI? Yea it might be a good simple setup, but looks like crap on a Ford. It dominates the whole front of the engine.

I have the HEI already and I love it. I just need to swap out my old intake and carb. I am just trying to avoid fitment issues with the HEI and the intake. My car is a cruiser with a mild cam upgrade other than that it's a pretty stock 302.

Go with the RPM intake. With the A321, you'll have clearance issues with that HEI. My stock distributor with the large cap rubs the #5 intake runner on the A321. Not by much, just the metal snap catches it. Any larger housing distributor wouldn't work.
