For any of you taller 05 GT owners, out there. I'm curious as to how comfortable you are in the car, and what head room is like. I have yet to be able to get into one yet. I'm about 6'5", so, I know that it'll probly be a tight fit anyway. Just wondering, if they might have added more room since the last model. Thanx for any responses!

There is about 1" more leg room and at least 1" more head room in the '05 than a 99 - 04s have.

@ 6'2 I'm a bit short of legroom on my 2001 GT but have plenty of headroom.

When I sat in an '05, the leg room was perfect with the seat all the way back and there was way more headroom than I needed.

If you can squeeze into a 99-04 you will be comfortable in a '05.

way , way better than the older ones,,, much more roomy and comfortable for us bigger guys,,, you know,, these designers dont realize that they are cutting out a major part of the male population when they poorly design a care only for small guys..... when the new tbird came out i couldnt fit comfortably, the crossfire is a joke, and the new viper is just about the worst,, not surprisingly they are all selling poorly..

Thanx for the info. I'm pleased to hear they added a touch more room, 'cause I barely was able to fit into the last 94- up. I'm 'bout 6'5", so it's really a pain in the ass to find a descently comfortable car to have as a daily driver. Usually havta end up on the truck side of things. Thanx again for the help.

When the 2 seat T-Bird came out, I was ready to buy one. That is until I went down to my friendly Ford dealer and sat in one. With the seat ALL the way down, my eyes were right in line with the trim on the top of the windshield. Tried to fit in one with a top on it, forgetaboutit, I didn't even bother to take a T-Bird for a test drive.

The '05 Mustang fits me perfectly.
