Does this happen to anyone else? On some (winter) mornings my car is a little slow to start and I let off the starter as normal out of habit, not noticing the car isn't running yet. No big deal as I just turn the key again to start it up. However, when this happens it really chugs for a second or two and the RPM's drop way down before it finally starts idling normal.
If anything, on other cars they end up starting a bit quicker after hitting the ignition a second time and may even rev a bit. I assume because some unburned fuel is in the cylinders from the "failed" first start. Not the new Stang though, it just chugs and chokes a second before finally going.
