Yes, many of you may not be as entertained with the thread (Worst Thread Eva) or like is as much as some of the other members of this community.

However, I'm unclear what The Worst Thread Eva has to do with the overall quality of the 5.0 Talk Thread.

As far as I've seen, the thread hasn't impacted anything. Regardless of Andy being gone or not. Do I miss/we him? Yes. However, we have several other admin's just as devoted to 5.0 Talk as he was.

I've noticed an overall drop in posts the last couple of months, and one would think there would be more winter project threads, but sadly there is not.

If you want to see better threads in 5.0 talk, don't bitch about a few bad apples who post ****ty video's, make threads everyone has seen dozens of times, the usual what tires can I run on xx rims, what exhaust is best, ect. By all means post some meaningful interesting 5.0 related threads. I post threads in 5.0 Talk when I can, and will be posting more on my upcoming projects, hopefully some of you can do the same.

Where do i begin. maybe th fact that 80 percent of it has nothing to do with 5.0 mustangs/ mustangs in general. Its just a 950 page ramble about stupid pointless stuff that takes up message board space. It just seems dumb to have the first post on mustang talk be a 900 some page ramble about nothing, its the first thing new people or people who have been here see when they open 5.0 talk. Maybe we should have a section for 17 and younger kids to talk trash and insult each other in. Im not saying this place should be all serious business but you dont see any of this crap fly on other mustang boards. We should all work on bringing this place back to the top number 1 site is used to be. :SNSign: :SNSign:

Last time we moved every thread that was not 5.0 related a lot of people in here said we were on a power trip. So if ALL of the none mustang threads are moved out of 5.0 is this going to happen again?

Now, don't take this the wrong way or anything because i'm not trying to be a jerk when i say this, but with 35 posts since October, you haven't really been hanging out on the tech boards too much have you?

The tech boards are kept very serious. Nothing off-topic flies there and it runs very well. Basing the reputation of the site based on the 5.0 talk forum is a little unfair given the high quality of tech into given in the tech forums. I for one will say that Stangnet is THE BEST site for Mustang tech. Every post made usually gets plenty of useful replies.

5.0 talk is just that...talk. Non-Mustang posts are allowed as this board is typically made up of 5.0 members who mostly post in talk that might want to come in here and post about stuff non-mustang related. The main goals of the admins is to keep the tech forums as clean and properly maintained as possible and the talk forums take the OT threads and other mustang non-tech threads.

if you look around Stangnet at some of the other talk/tech forums, you'll see they are set up the same way.

I don't see that bitching about one thread is going to make things better. The thread isn't holding anyone back from engaging in interesting and educational 5.0 threads.

Age has NOTHING to do with thread quality. I've seen several members who've posted great 5.0 threads, and I can name several that are under 21.

If anybody wants to read/post technical posts, 5.0 tech is FILLED with valuable information, and members who are more than willing to help fellow Mustang enthusiasts. There are appropriate sections for every type of Mustang fan out there. They just need to check the right places!

Forums are meant to attract similar people with similar interests. Will anything PHYSICALLY happen to you if you act like a jerk? No. But everybody will just ignore you and request that you go away. I suggest if you don't like a thread, ignore it.

Well let me start off first saying that i have been around here alot longer than this screen name. lol I have been through about 6 or 7 since 2001 ish. The first couple i forgot the screen name's of when i wasnt around for a little bit, then i got new email addresses , i dont even remember the old email address password so that i can get my old stangner screen name and password.

second of all, im not saying bad things about the young guys, im 22 myself, but i meant it more or less for the people old and young who act like 13 year olds.
Im not saying that there is no technical advice in on stangnet, not at all its better than any other mustang board because of all the answers and quick replies, i usually post the same thread on corral and stangnet when i have a tech question, my question will get answerd usually within a few hours here, as compared to corral, its either a few days or never at all. Also i dont thing it should be all business in 50 talk, but some of the stupid,pointless stuff has to stop. There is a section for that, and if nobody is gonna use it, why have it. And i also agree that there are alot of people who mainly hang out only on the tech and talk boards, and dont frequent the other ones often, im guilty of this myself. I dunno i just like mustangs and i like to talk about mustangs, and talk to people related with mustangs. I like to hear about what people who own mustangs are doing and stuff. I just dont wan to see the crowd who has been here for a long time dissapear.

Like does anybody remember the guy with the blacked out vert? I thought it was a 86 4 eyed with black out covers , and black roll bars, i think it has a cowl hood.i forget his screen name, but back in the day when i first came around here, everybody was dry humping his car and it was a stangnet fav.
