It would be irrational to hold one thread accountable for all the bad things that happen in 5.0 Talk.

The thread has been going for quite sometime. And now that we have slowness again, people start to complain about the content of all the threads in 5.0 Talk.

If it was turning away people from joining the community, it would have been removed long ago. All the mods know it is there, the owner knows it's there, and for those that don't like it... simply ignore it like all the other threads/posts you don't agree with.


You want to improve the threads, ignore the threads you don't like, post new threads, and contribute to threads others have posted.

There's nothing in that thread that violates SN's TOS so it's not getting deleted.

Come on - quit with the drama
You have both asked and contributed in 5.0 talk. Just because you don't like some of the threads doesn't mean you have to boycott the entire forum. All you have to do is pick the threads you want to participate in. It's really not that bad.

There are plenty of threads I don't like, so I ignore them - tech threads included. I hate when I see someone butcher a Stang so that it runs like a raped ape on the track, but will never see the street again, but I don't boycott the entire section...the same should hold true for the talk section. Nobody is going to like 100% of the posts - everyone has different tastes here.

I liked andy for the guy, not the mod, hell he even gave me referrals Ignore the threads if you like, thats how it works. I'm a full fledged fan of the mod's on this forum, and they are good people. I'll trust their opinion when it comes to threads though, since they know the book better then I.

So does anyone remember what the original topic of the worst thread Eva was? I do i was the first person who read it. I bet half of the people talking about do not remember. For a refresher it was about 90gt street racing.

i don't think the issue here is 'the worst thread eva'! i for one am glad for it. it keeps most of the silly stuff out of the threads. it's the garbage that ends up in legit threads, that derails everything, that is what upsets me and other members....
