New member here but along time lurker. I have a yellow 2002 V6 Vert. I purchased it in pretty rough shape. Had been sitting for almost two years outside in the elements under trees. The top leaked badly near the bottom rear window area. The trunk was completely filled up with stagnant water as was the well behind the rear seat. Lots of mold, the stereo did not operate properly due to two shorted amps from moisture as well. The driver's door window glass had been propped up by the owner who had removed the door panel and had reached in and bent the regulator arms to hold the glass up(glass had fallen out of its channel. The outside body was in fair condition with a few dents and scrapes which were acceptable being an older car. The paint was covered in tree sap and black spots were every where on the surface. I got the car cheap. Replaced the battery, and the car started right up. Took it home and spent many hours on the car fixing all the issues. I bought a new top, but have as yet to install it. I keep the car garaged, and the top down. Wife and I have been cruising in it for the summer on nice days and evenings. The new top will be installed over the winter storage months. This is our second mustang we ever have owned. The first was a 1966 fastback 2+2 we owned in 1972. (Wish I still had that one
