Kinda new to the forums, but not to Mustangs, or Fords in general; I've been lurking for a while, learning about Navi swaps.
Nearly 3 years ago, I inherited a 98 Laser Red GT from my father, which I intend to repair/upgrade/restore. I currently have a pile of suspension parts (well overdue) waiting for some free time (A/C in my truck has to be fixed before I take the Mustang down again). I also have a couple interior pieces (a New Edge console, so I can finally stop shifting into my cup holder) to refurbish and install.
From there, I haven't decided. Engine upgrade is on the list somewhere (this nearly 200k mile NPI 4.6 isn't exactly powerful or efficient compared to modern machines), and a trans swap or rebuild will have to happen eventually (also at 200k miles, and temperamental as hell). If my contract work remains steady, I may be replacing both in the near future.
Anyway, I'm excited to see a reasonably active Mustang forum, and I'm sure I can learn something from my time here.
