Help 1965 Fastback. What Is This Rack And Pinion Off Of?

Bought this 1965 Fastback that had a different rack and pinion installed in it, not original. The boots are cracked but cant source the part out because Im not sure what this manual rack and pinion is off of. The picture is attached, the boot is about 11 inches long, please let me know if you can help.

You might try searching Mustang suppliers like Cjpony, NPD etc and comparing the pictures or the racks available to fit your model. There aren't a lot of them so it shouldn't be too hard unless someone rigged one up themselves. Also look for a part number and google that number and see what comes up?

65 Mustangs didn't come standard with a rack and pinion steering. More than likely it's from a Mustang II conversion which uses a fox body rack and pinion.
