Help air-bag light goes off now

We did the V8 swap in a day, everything works fine but the air-bag indicator is flashing now - it didn't flash when the V6 was in the car. At first I thought the computer controlled this stuff and thought the air-bag had gone off (since the parts car was wrecked and the bags were out). So I plug my ScanTool and erase the codes but the air-bag light stays on.

The collision sensors on the front are rusted but we didn't touch them during the swap. My cousin is the one who did the pedal change (auto to 5 speed) so I'm thinking maybe a wire was broken or unplugged? Unless the computer does manage the air-bag systems and my ScanTool can't erase the code? BTW the computer has been without power for over a month in the other car so I don't think any codes would be stored for that long?

Got any ideas?

Count the flashes. then go here and it will tell you waht the code means and how to clear it.

Let me know if you need more. I was able to celam my codes very quickly with this page. What was not clear to me is that the connector to clear codes is jsut a gray 2-pin rectangle connector under the glove box.
