Alright i have just installed a pih kit on my car and it runs like **** at about 3k up. Before i hadnt had ne problems with my car not running right. I dont know what the deal is. It just flat out runs like crap. Anyone have any suggestions on what is wrong. I went back and checked all the pins on the computer and they are all in the right spot.

What exactly did you do?

Have you tried pulling codes yet?

PIH is a fox conversion kit (puts a fox processor in a 94-95).

Pulling codes is not a bad idea.

More info on what it does exactly at/above 3K. Does it do it always? Hot and cold? part and WO throttle? etc.

Good luck.

Out of personal curiosity, what would be the advantage of installing this kit?

Do you have a aftermarket ignition?

If not, from the threads I've seen about the pcm retrofit, that could be the prob.

This has been talked about endlessly it seems in the past.

Everybody has an opinion and I will say, I think there is a better way.

By your post count I see you are kinda new to the site so I can see how you may not have seen some of the threads which pertain to the pcm retrofit.

To give you an idea of the amount of discussion and some info for you to answer your questions............................

In this forum alone a search using .....................
