HELP!!! ANYONE!!!!

My car now sounds like a diesle! ****! I stated it this afternoon, and while I was closing the hood, I heard a clicking sound, and it sped up with the RPMs. The sound was coming from the TB/Intake area, or below it in that area of the motor. It sounded like metal on metal. I hope its just a vaccum line that came off, and it was way too loud to be detonation. The only other thing that comes to mind is the valve might be bent, or hitting the piston.

I'm about to leave for work in my civic, but please leave me 2,983,203 responses for when I get back.

Have you done any work to it recently ? How is your oil pressure ?

About 2 months ago, I had the upper and lower intake put on. Oil pressure... I'm not sure, the only gauges that work are the Tach, Speedo, battery, and Water temp.

exhaust leak...header came loose? Can be really loud and sound like bad rockers / lifters / etc...

yep, a lose spark plug(not threaded in tight) and a plug wire thats not all the way on can get clicky sounding too.......
