no, the clutch is fully engaged b/c its only on the 1-2 and 3-4 shift. im 80% sure its the syncros. and i was thinking about the tranny fluid. they didnt change it. my buddy got grinding in his audi TT and he changed his fluid and it eliminated the problem all together. maybe i just need some thicker fluid?bdcardinal said:well it might not be adjusted properly and therefore not allowign hte clutch disc to fully disengage from the flywheel. also, when the clutch was put in, did they put in a new cable? its a good practise to do that, unless the cable is fairly new. also did they drain the trans, and if they did what fluid did they put in? if they put in too thick or thin of a fluid it might affect the synchros.
