i just recently installed some gears in my 8.8 as well as replaced a axle and tracloc unit .....as soon i i get into 4th (aod) and get up to 2k rpm i start getting a badd vibration thoughout the entire car its hard to tell where its comming from because its so violent above 2k + ..ide like to get some input so when i work on it this weekend ill know a few places to check ...thanks

Humm, you may have put the driveshaft back in 180 degree out. I dont know if that would couse that much vibe though. Ummm, or the unit that you just put in maynot be in correctly. Other than that I really dont know. Sorry that I cant be of more help

it could be anything from installing the t-lok clutches wrong to the gears. It also could be the driveshaft. What gears did you install?

Bad driveshafts tend to become more obvious with the installation of a lower gear. Kind of strange that you'd be getting vibration at 2K though.

If you didn't already, buy the FMS aluminum driveshaft before the price raises!

I had the shakes really bad until I installed my FMS aluminum driveshaft yesterday. Day and night difference.

Your best bet might be to pull the DS out and have the balance checked. You can also try to inspect it yourself by putting the rear of the car on jackstands, putting the car in gear and watching the driveshaft; mine was messed up bad enough that you could see it.
