Help! before i buy on ebay!!! GT40?

Is this the same lower manifold as a 93 cobra,gt-40? Its supposed to be from a 96 explorer????? I cant tell if its got the EGR????? I hope this loads....

I have a 97 exploere upper and want to make shure im not wasting any money on the crappy non EGR intake??

Yes it has the internal EGR passage.

The only other differences between the explorer and gt40/cobra lowers is that the explorer lowers aren't drilled for the ACT sensor in the #5 intake runner and they also aren't drilled for the coolant line coming off the EGR spacer back to the lower intake.

Most guys relocate the ACT sensor and some get rid of the coolant lines to the EGR spacer. If you don't want to do that then the holes have to be drilled and tapped.

And to add, there should be a bung cast into the lower where it would typically be drilled and tapped, but there's just no hole. If you look at the very center of the intake, you can see the hole for the internal EGR passage.

thats not a bad price. I take it you already have an upper intake.
