Help Before I Shoot It

First question is on the clutch cable. Is there a spring that goes between the bellhousing and clutch fork or is it just the clutch cable then on the other side of the fork is the adjusting nuts my paps took it off about a week ago and now im trying to get it back together it is the summit adj. clutch kit.

Secon question is in reference to the vacuum lines off of the back of the intake. I know about the diagram that jricker posted but couldnt figure it out though maybe someone might have some pictures I have figures the ones that go to the fuel pressure reg. and to the s on the tree but the other one has got me bout ready to start shooting at it. Everything seems to have a vac. line except the smog pump lines which i have removed. Man or Woman thanks for any help you can give!!

doesn't really matter where the vaccum line for the FPR goes....as long as all the ports are plugged or used on the intake. About the clutch- there is no spring. As soon as the cable is on the quadrant on the pedal assembly, the cable threads throught the clutch fork, then you tighten the nuts until there is just a little slack. Not too tight though- that'll wear out your throwout bearing. Not too loose either or you'll be grinding gears. Just keep trying till it feels right.
