I am looking at some foxes in my area, and some of them have nitrous kits installed. I am worried about the owners having abused the juice, and am wondering what things I can look for when inspecting the cars to see if that is the case. I don't want to merely be discouraged from purchasing these beautiful stangs, so please provide some constructive information if possible.

find out if they have motors built for nitrous and test drive them and see what you think

Ask them questions about the kits...
1.) Dry or Wet Kit?
2.) Amount of "HP" sprayed?

The Fox Mustangs up till 92 had factory forged pistons, then in 93 they went to Hyperneumatics. So, if the shot isn't huge AND if it was installed properly, you should be okay.
Have someone or a dealer do a compression test to see if the rings are damaged, and you can also do a leak down test for extra assurance.

A lot of people are lame and have bottles in their cars and dont use them also. Just a thought. 100 shot and under is pretty safe. Some people spray 200 shots on stock bottom ends and live a long time. Others, don't.

I wouldn't be to worried about it.
