HELP! CAI install question

I just got an EBAY CAI to only notice that my 00 mustang doesnt have a "MAS" to attach the first part of the intake tube to. I havent really taken out my stock intake yet, but from eyeing it, its obvious that I dont have a MAS that I can attach my new intake to.

Have any of you v6'ers run into that? Im sure I can bypass a MAS that I dont have, but how have you guys done it?

I have included 2 picutres of the MAS (just in case Im not talking about the right part). Any help is appreciated. I feel silly asking such a question, because Im pretty good with things like this.

sorry the pic is such bad quality. But, where it is circled is where your sensor is at. Just unscrew the filter housing and unbolt the mas and there ya go!
