I need help guys, Ive been toying around trying to get this thing running too long!! Long story short

One day car wouldnt start, turns over but that is it
I got fuel
I got NO spark

Replaced TFI module - no luck

Found out I have no power in the harness to the coil( ign. on but no light on 12v test light)

Car has a Vortech Ign/boost control and it had power leading to 1 of 2 harnesses it leads to...the harness to the coil has no power but the other does, I believe that one is the switchable 12v source and timing stuff?

I replace with MSD BTM and its the exact same box as the Vortech so I wire it in the same way and I still have no juice to the coil????

I am at a loss, could it be the 20g fusable ign. link?? does anybody know which one that is in the bundle underneith the starter relay...the wires are color coded but I dont know which one is ignition related?

TIA

I have the same problem and cant figure it out :(

I know...What I cant figure is that when going thru the MSD BTM there is only a few wires to connect.

I dont see how I can get power to one harness and not the one at the coil?
I pretty much figure it cant be the MSD as its the exact issue I had when the Vortech BTM was connected. I dont believe I have 2 bad ign. boxes in a row:shrug:

I just need to figure how something is keeping me from getting power to the coil?:bang:

At the top of the diagram, look for the blue 20 gauge fuse link in the power feed to the coil. It if opens up, you get no power to the coil red/green power feed wire. You can replace the fuse link with a 5 amp inline fuse if you can't get the 20 gauge fuse link wire. Most auto parts stores will carry the fuse link wire.

Check out the ignition switch too. No voltage here, and the electrical part of the switch mechanism is bad.

Thanks for the help/info guys!

This is where I get confused. The only thing I have going to the coil(MSDblaster) is the one clip harness that is being fed from the MSD BTM. There are no other wires/feeds coming into it?

Im starting to wonder how much wiring has been changed. Bought this car not long ago.
