HELP! CLUTCH CABLE IS TOO SHORT!

to take the piece off that used to go with the stock quad, just remove the cotter pin and slide it off. There's a spring there too, and that's no longer used, so ditch it. I don't know what all this talk of grinding is about. It's a million times easier if you take your seat out and lay on your back. Four bolts and the seat's out. Let me know dude.
 
i got it all done at like 2 am last night or around there. my clutch pedal is actually at the right height now and it catches all the way at the top like yours was...but my clutch isnt slipping at all, which is a good thing. im probably gonna order upr's triple hook quadrant and put that on just so i have some adjustability
