Hi guys I am working on a 61 cadillac with a 390 V8, and I'm having an issue with the edelbrock carb I've just installed in place of the old rochester. I'm having trouble with the linkage. Basically the butterfly flap doesn't open or close with the throttle cable, so something is disconnected, I don't know what I've done wrong. I have a video but it won't seem to let me post. Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong?

I have waited a couple of days to ask since the video does not run. Please tell me you know what the choke flap and secondary air flap are.

Yes i know that flap I was moving is the choke. It's an electric choke so I have wired it now. The issue I'm dealing with now is that the car goes full throttle when it's started. Think it may have something to do with the fast idle cam. I'm really unfamiliar with carburetors
