hey guys since i got this car all the tires are dry rotted(current tires are 195/65r15 in back & 195/60r15 in front). so im looking for new ones, the last guy said he was running 275/60r15 slick on 15x8 with skinny's in the front. Now i have the 10 spoke 15x7 wheels and the car is not level. So im thinking about running a 235/70r15 in the back and 205/65r15 in the front. what yall think

Buy the right size tires, fix the suspension to get the ride height leveled.

So 225/60r15 with factory springs? Or should I just go with lowering springs.

I think you have something else going on in the rear for the gap to be that large. Even factory springs don't sit that high. Did a control arm get replaced and torqued down with the suspension in full droop?

I also agree with running the OEM tire size: 225/60/15

might have to start making a new thread for this car. but yeah here is a under car pic on the rear end. But yeah adjustable shocks was not told about those, and the diff cover needs to be resealed. Also i did order some new tires today 225/60R15

Yeah, I’m gonna go with a pinion seal leak as there is gear oil coming from the front of the housing.

Run em square so you can rotate. 235/55 or 235/60 is also close enough, if the tire you like doesn'thave stock size. Wider may squeeze on, but performance may degrade.

Yup I will check that as well, what also worries me is how low the Sway bar is.

Looking at the drum brake backing plates I would also say the axle seals are leaking which means pulling axles and also (possibly but most likely) replacing the brake shoes. Check the axle bearings and if in doubt replace them. If you have it torn down this far then I would get a trac-lok clutch kit and go ahead and get that addressed while it's all apart.

Sway bar is installed correctly however the LCA's do not have the front bolt lower than the rear bolt which will cause the back of the sway bar to tilt downward. You can see how the front holes in these Maximum Motorsports LCA's are lower than the rear holes.

You may be able to loosen the bolts and see if you can move the bar up and then tighten the bolts back up. If that doesn't work then you or someone else can weld the front holes shut and drill some new ones on the LCA's you have or buy new LCA's that locate the sway bar where you want it.

Well after reviewing the video I took the springs are a blue color so either they are steeds or h&r lowering springs. So would those 225/60r15 tires still fit on the front?
