help idle poblems

hi, all i am new and have a few questions. i just bought the car and it idels way up and down. it feels sluggish when you drive normal but when you punch it holy sh-t. it has track heat heads, trick flow upper and lower intake,stage 1 cam 75 mm throttle body75 mm mass air,c&l 80mm intake tube1.7 rockers, 24# injectors,long tube headers. do we need a custom chip?? the guy that sold me the car said when i start it wait 20sec for the computer to learn then drive. also my fuel pressure said 38psi is that normal for this setup? please tell me were to start.

Is the MAF cal'd for the 24's? Knowing the year of stang can help too.

You might want to check out the sticky by Stangnet wise-man Jrichker at the top of this sub-forum (regarding idle surge).
