Ok so my friends grandfather who has been working on and drag racing fords since the 50's (however he hasn't done much work on fox's, mostly 30's coupes) is going to help me weld up my torque boxes and axle tubes as well as make me some torque box reinforcements.

At the same time i want to go ahead and replace the lower control arms since i will have a little extra money. I found these on ebay but i'm unsure of the quality or which ones would be best for my setup, all i know is the price is about right for me. My car isn't a dd it's more of a weekend toy just to take out and have fun in and go to the track every few months, However i wouldn't mind sacrificing some ride comfort for a better setup.

What do you guys think about this upper and lower set from blueovalindustries?

Also would it be ok to just do the lowers now and do the uppers later? Would there be any negative aspects to it? Other then having to mess with the rear twice? I'm sure i will have some more questions so as they come to me i will edit this post with them.

Thanks ahead of time:SNSign: for all the help!

^^^ Kinda explains the TQ boxes better.

Never heard of UMI. The lift bars look good.

Personally I like my HPM Mega Bite Jrs. I just have the lowers and they work great.

Add some good rear shocks, Lakewood 50/50s (I have)or some Strange adjustables (very nice).

On BFGs I have cut 1.6s. I also have the 70/30 struts up front. Strange makes the struts too.

If you get some uppers, get adjustables so you can set the pinion angle. They are not a must but if you have the cash, go for it.
