looking to get new control arms for my 1990lx. i have done some searching and narrowed it down between steeda and M.M.. but not sure which ones from those companies i should get. i want them for street use with the occasional strip useage. should i get upper and lower or just lower? any suggestions? was also going to get the full length subframe connectors and rear sway bar from the same company for now and then springs/shocks later on.

Definately do both the upper and lower. The stock arms are really weak and more than likely your bushings are worn out. I did just the lowers at first (Steeda aluminum) and it was an okay change but I really noticed a difference when I put the uppers on. A friend of mine has a stock suspension under his Stang and he was bragging about how well it handled. I took him for a ride in mine and his jaw dropped.

Do upper and lower. You can't go wrong with Steeda or MM really for lowers. Just get some FRPP uppers and stick with rubber bushings on the uppers rather than Urethane.
