Other than that, some people on the board know what I got my rearend built with Ford Racing 3.73's with a bunch of other goodies. I was looking at another thread about gears and I started thinking, was there really 3.08's in my rearend, or was it the optional 3.27's that you COULD of opt for in 1996, but it gets interesting....
What concerns me the most was that I set my Dallas Speedcal for 3.08's to 3.73's. The problem comes in when I check my driver side door tag telling me everything that comes on the car from factory. I look and it said under R is 6, and under Axle is E.
I go to a Mustang website, and decode my vin and I am so confused on the rearend/Axle part. Someone please help, because this is a deciding factor on fixing my dipswitches on my Dallas Speedcal, thats been working flawlessly by the way. Thanks!
