My mods are in my signature. The Am. Thunder cat back is just too loud with all the other stuff that I have done. So I'm looking for suggestions.

I am debating just getting some 50 series Delta flow from FLowmaster. Then I could just get the connectors for the mid pipe welded in, and bolt the new mufflers in. But I'm wondering if that would even make a noticable difference.

BTW, I don't mind the resonance of the Dronemasters. They are just too freeking loud at idle. I have to shut the motor down at the Taco Bell drive through!!!

frpp dual mode muffs from the fr500 exhaust system. they sell just the muffs for 300/pair
it's a shame corsa has shunned the 5.0

Heck ya it's too loud. I have LT headers and a cam. I love the way it sounds at WOT, but don't like the fact that people can hear me coming from blocks away, even when I put along.

Steeda used to sell a "sleeper" muff you may want to check to see if they still do.

I installed a Ford Racing cat-back for the same reason. The fit was very good and I was very happy with the sound. The system was 269.00 from CJ Pony Parts.

Loud? If you can still hear yourself thinking...as in "my mufflers my be too loud" then they're not loud enough!

I switched from 40 series to 50 series Flowmasters because dumped the 40s were just too loud.

The 50s are considerably quieter, yet still retain that characteristic Flowmaster sound. You'll like them.

I have a Dynomax Ultra-Flo SS catback with a Steeda catted X-pipe. Pretty quiet at idle and opens up at WOT around 3k.
