Heya folks,

Some may have seen my thread about project Grocery Gitter. Here's a pic, incase you haven't:

As you can see, the cars already has a complete set of Weld Drag lites on it. They've never been a wheel that I liked a whole lot or thought enough about to purchase but the wife likes them so what I think I'm going to do is buy two more front wheels to replace the skinnies so that it's more street friendly. Maybe some 15x6 or 15x7s.

Anyway... On the cover of of the March-April Summit Racing catalog, there's a 67 Stang wearing Drag Lites. This guy has what look to be, some anodized aluminum plugs to fill the extra holes (vs. the crappy plastic ones).

Here's a pic:

Does anyone know where I can find these? The center caps appear easy enough to come by but I'm not having any luck with the plugs. I'm thinking either blue anodized or chrome.

Where do I find them?

Thanks.

P.S. Weld website = Teh Lose

Very unifinished, crappy pics, poor navigability.

those were probably custom made. I don't see there being a huge market for anodized aluminum weld wheel hole plugs, lol.

caplugs is who makes the plastic ones you typically see, and they make a variety of different style plugs. you might check out there site and see if there's anything on there you might like.

Ahh yeah... those will work. I could just match them with chrome center hub and they'd look good.

thanks!

I bought the chrome and since my car in emerald I panted them with a rattle can emerald green. I think they look pretty sick when they are the car color, although I dont know about white.

Yeah... the white with white paint probably wouldn't look too hot. I am planning to two-tone the car though. Will def keep that in mind depending on the secondary color of the car.
