I need some new rocker arms for my 351C 4v motor. The stock rocker arms are held in by a 5/16 bolt (is that called pedestal mount rockers?) Also are the stock rockers 1.73 ratio? Anyway i would like to get atleast some roller tip rockers without having to get a stud kit. So does anyone have any advice?

Crane makes a stud conversion kit that is basically a bolt on deal. I used them on a 400M, and they worked OK with big chevy rockers and a Comp Cams 280H camshaft. Use thread locking compound on the bottom of the stud, otherwise they'll loosen on you. If you plan on any heavy racing or such, you really need to pull the heads and have screw in studs and guide plates installed. Ford Racing also offers a bolt on roller rocker set for the Clevelands, they run about $200-300 for the set.

Scorpion makes a roller rocker that bolts directly ....

to the factory pedestal. No machining, no adapters, no guide plates - nothing else required. They're for sale on eBay all the time for about $210 a set.

Are these any good? Better than using the conversion and buying standard roller rockers?

Waht you're referring to is for a Windsor motor, not a Cleveland. Big difference.
