Help Me please

ok, i need help with lights in my 65. the left side turning signal and the left side rear light is out. also the right side headlight goes dim when switched on.
where do i start checking for short or wire problems. the bulbs looked good and all, but im gonna actually check em tomorrow

first check your grounds as they are the biggest cause of electrical problems. after that, start at the load and trace the wires backwards checking for problems.

so starting at the light int he front and work the way to the inside?

Agree with rbohm------ check the grounds. That dim headlight is caused by just that.

someone said battery could do that too or even the alternator. is this correct?

Not if just one side is dim, if it were the battery or alternator, both headlights would be dim.

ok, so where exactly would i look for this ground? anywhere?

It's been 20 something years since I had the same problem in my 67, All I could tell you now is remove the headlight and trace the wires back to the ground point. Should be behind the light somewhere.

thanks for the help all of you all. me and dad gonna check it out after school/work so i'll be back if i cant find a solution lol
