Your really can not tell anything until you sit the intake on your block, with your heads.

The deck height and milling will have a large effect as to how it sits. If it is a litlle high you can just mill the intake a little to drop the ports down.

Rick, what I meant was, does it matter if the gasket is larger than the ports?

jay got back to me and he said I should have the heads done. He said him and that guy Mike C from MCRP work well together and he (mike) will get him all the info on the heads to "get the right tool for the job". I think I am gonna go to Englishtown next friday night and make some passes for the last time with this combo and then start pulling it apart that week or the following weekend. I know my car as is has more than a 12.8 @ 108-109 in it now. I'd like to see a 112 out of it.

The 1250 fits really good and tight, it just hangs over on one side or the other, depending on how you set the gasket, maybe 1/32-1/16 of an inch, but its enought to probably restrict some air flow. Nothing a little razor blade couldn't handle. I still think I am going to use the 1262, just because I just bought them. My 30lb c&l calibration tube will be here sometime next week, and then I will slap the intake on and see how it runs. I will have to hold up on the 1 3/4 lt's for awhile but oh well. What do you guys think I should set my A/F ratio at. Its at 12.75:1 on my extender right now and runs good. I will let you know how it runs.

See my sig, I use the Track Heat and just some 1 5/8" shortie headers and I'm really happy with my results. I would've done longtubes but I had to retain the stock H-pipe for emissions purposes when I put the motor together. The Track Heat matched up perfectly to my High Ports. I use the forged Eagle assembly but I didn't really do much research before I bought it. I've had no problems so far though.

I might pull the engine on friday. The call Mike c and tell him im gonna ship the heads out that week.

This engine is gonna cost a lot of money, the head work really adds up and puts it over budget but I think in the end i'll end up with a faster car done right. Once the heads are done, i'll give Jay all the info and specs and have him set up the cam and i'll order the shortblock. Then ill get the 1 3/4" longtubes, TFS R intake and all the other crap I need. I should see over 400rwhp and some nice torque. It should be pretty fast ;) It should run 10 second potential mph. Time will tell..
