Believe me, I would do nitrous, but I dont want to risk detonating the engine on my daily driver. I'm prob going to lean towards suspension as mine is 100% stock. Any ideas on set ups?

cams or lts I think you can get cams installed for a thousand (counting the price to buy the cams) both should give good gains

i like the idea of lts, but he would need a new mid-pipe or he'd have to get his mid-pipe cut to fit, so that would factor into the price as well...cams, he would want new valve springs, so that would up the price...i'd say some suspension work would be best if he's maxed at $1000 given his current mods

Don't worry about detonation with nitrous, just use high octane gas, common sense and the right hp level for your stock car. I felt the same way until I forced myself to just buy a nitrous kit. 75 shot is well below the limit of a stock mustang short block. Just be smart and make sure the kit comes with a WOT switch and maybe purchase a rpm window switch for extra safety. Spray that biotch, it's the cheapest way to go fast, plus you would have money left over.
