For the last week or so, I've noticed the 90 has been idling a little rougher than usual. It was kind of hard to tell with the cam in it, but it seems a rougher than normal, it still runs decent after about 1500 rpm's though. I decided today to do a compression check on cylinder 3 (I've had problems with the valvetrain on that cylinder several times). I went ahead and checked all of them since I had my tester out.
Cylinder's 4-8 have about 120p.s.i. of pressure, but cylinders 1-3 only have about 80p.s.i. I'm wondering with those three all being that low and next to each other if maybe my headgasket was leaking in between the cylinders.
Does anyone have any insight on this?
I can tear it down and get it back together in a day, but I really wanted to avoid that if I can. Right now I'm tempted to get swap headers and oil pan, and intake for the windsor sitting on my engine stand.
