I know this isn't a mustang, but I need help... My daily driver '88 Cougar with the 3.8 V-6 is giving me fits. It has the nasty habit of dying out at seemingly random times. You can be driving along no problem... with good power and mileage and everything and then BAM it just shuts right off instantly and won't restart. However, once it has cooled down it restarts no problem.
So, my first guess was the notorious ignition module mounted on the radiator support. I switched that out yesterday and same result. All I can figure is that something electric is failing once it warms up. Any ideas???
