Help oil in intake, need to drive to school tomorrow

I have a sixty mile round trip to college every day, I need to be there for a midterm tomorrow, I just looked in my intake and saw the gasket for the cooling lines on the tb was leaking. The upper intake has oil in it (like a couple spoonfuls), just sitting in the bottom of the chamber where the vac line comes up (I think it's coming from there). I have a PCV valve, so it shouldn't allow any oil, right? what could be my problem? I'm running a Typhoon intake upper + lower (please dont say thats the problem), a bbk tb, bbk egr spacer, and its a gt-40 crate engine. I've put 4000+ miles on it, so what could have gone bad?

If the gasket for the egr spacer is leaking, it is leaking coolant not oil. You can go to the hardware store and get a length of copper tubing that will fit inside the rubber hoses. Just take the hoses off, insert the tube and clamp both ends. This will temporarily bypass the spacer until you can replace the gaskets.

I have been gettin oil in my intake for a little while now, its because of blow-by in my cylinders, the pressure forces the oil through th pcv valve and into the intake manifold, I put a filter off of a air compressor (got it from walmart for $10) inline between my pcv valve and the manifold and it catches the the oil for me.

low tension rings are part of the problem - not a whole lot that can be done about it w/o some work.

many folks have oil in the TB, plenum, etc from this. a bandaid is to run a filter and a catch can.

my gasket was leaking too from the egr spacer. i just got a piece of brake line from the auto parts store, cut it to the length i needed, and just by passed the TB all together. i have not had mine hooked up in years now.

I agree with puting a filter between the pcv and tb. yeah it's a bandaid but it will work for a while. as for driving you should be fine for right now you just might blow some blue smoke, but your car will really in the end be fine. just fix it soon as you can. on my old stock manifold i was running two pcv valves one from the valve cover to the tb and then one from lower to the upper. then i bought a trick flow manifold off ebay then i only had one pcv valve from the tb to the vavle. the opening on the lower was blocked and there didn't seem to be a opening on the upper like there was on the last. as a result my intake began to suck oil threw my pcv and i ended with the same problem you had.

no............you have to do a compression test when you open the oil cap is there vapor comeing out???? if so you have blow by caused by tired piston rings......you can still drive it by all means just will eat oil......oil in your intake track sounds like a clogged pcv valve how old is it? when you hooked up all your lines for that intake none were crossed where they? you see any blueish smoke?
