I've finally got everything back together but the engine is not wanting to idle. Running rich and popping. I tried setting TDC at number 1 and adjusting the dizzy twice. No codes and the motor has new 02 sensors/ACT/EGT. Seems like the backfire is only coming from the right side. Its a 1993 GT if that helps.

Everything was ok before your intake installation? If so, and you removed the distrubutor,. check you timing again. Then check for vac leaks.

Make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks, I was working on mine Sunday, knocked a vacuum line off and didn't realize it. Was running all stupid until I found it. Also make sure that #1 is actually firing off of the post that is marked #1 on the dizzy cap. This helps sync the injector firing with the ignition.

Okay the vacuum is good. Fuel Pressure is good. Maf is good as tested by dvm aswell as the baro sensor. We are going to try swaping injectors next as the po put python 24lbers and we think its getting to much fuel.

Did you check your push rod length when you assembled it? If they are too long you could have valves hanging open.

As far as i know its stock. I wanted to maintain drivability. No telling what the P/O has done but i know the bottom end was rebuilt in 09 with a 30 over.
