help on throttle body install

im gonna install my throttle body today but, what wire do you use the voltmeter on to get it between .98 and 1. also how do u disconnect the plastic linkage attached to the throttle body, i think its for the crusie control

The TPS voltage is rarely off, so I wouldn't even worry about it unless you notice low power at full throttle. It's more of an issue son the old 5.0's.

For the plastic bracket, it has a slot that you have to pull straight up away from the stud then pull off (for lack off better way of putting it).

Agreed - I tuned mine by ear and tach. There isn't much adjustment to it anyway, and you can do it while the motor is running. Just put it about in the middle of the available adjustment and you'll likely be fine.
The cruise control pops straight out (either straight up or straight down, I can't recall right now - but don't force it - it'll pop pretty easily)

I used the bottom 2 wires to verify the correct votage.
