ok, here's the deal....

Today i noticed that the rear passanger side of my mustang is sitting lower than the other side. So i double checked it with a tape mesure and sure enough....

the rear passenger side is sitting from ground to the wheel well 27 inchs.

the rear driver side is sitting at just barley over 28 inchs.

I check the front they are the same and it seems as if the rear passenger side is sitting lower than before. Anyone know why or have this issue???

could it be anything besides the spring?

maybe some other part of the suspension? I dont know much bout suspension so please help me out....

shock? strut? maybe a bad spring?

i dont have anything heavy on one side or the other. it has Eibach pro springs. Teh rest of the suspension is stock.

She has about 24k miles and about 3-5k of those miles are with the new springs.

ohh and she is a 2004 GT vert. Dunno if that matters.

Any advice or thoughts is helpfull, i'm doing 40 plus hours at work and about 24-25 in school, not including study and travel time. so i dont have a lot of time or $$$ which sucks but hey...

let me know what you guys think, whats th problem? thanks a bunch...........

Never really heard of something like that with just the eibach kit. Most likely a worn out shock, or broken stut, deffinately something with suspension. Have you taken the wheel off and looked? Anything bent, cracked, etc. . .

Check to see if the pigtails on the sping are both pointed to the drivers side. If one is in the wrong direction it would make the car uneven (not sure if it could be 1" uneven, but its worth checking into).

You should also look at the rear frame rails. They all don't come from the factory the same. there's not much of a tolerance of them from Ford and you could have a crooked frame causing the sides to be off.

ok, thanks tom, james and street.

tom could you post a pic of what the frame rail looks like? i'm not sure what i am looking at when underneath there.... any and all info will help out a lot.

i thought about swaping the rear springs from one side to another. sounds like a bit more work than i wanna do. but i think that might help tell me if its the spring or something else.

does the rear of the stang have shocks AND struts... or just one or the other????? thanks guys.

ohh one more thing, does anyone know if eibach has a warr or replacement program?

i dont think my factory warr will cover this.... but who knows

I don't know why it's so hard to find a pic of the underbelly but here's a decent one..

you can see the rear frames, then run back parallel from mufflers (outside of them) They're not always equally aligned

I wouldn't rule out the eibachs being the sagging issue, since they are progressive (individual coil rates) they have a tendency to be weaker in some spots and drop lower.
