HELP OVERHEATAGE

Ive had a few strange problems with this as well. However, I know what the reason is. (for my car anyway) When its hot and humid out, and I am using the A/C. there have been a couple times where I watched the temp gauge get almost to the L of NORMAL. fluid levels where fine. But, I did learn that the fan had stoped during those periods.
Ive had the breaker recall done. and the car has 95k miles on it now. so maybe its a problem with the motor in the fan.

Anyway, I ended up shutting the car down at lights, when it wasnt moving.

As long as the car was moving, it would stabalize. otherwise. it would get a bit hot.

I also had a "small" amount of luck cycling the ignition key. from runing. to off and back again. while the car was rolling. You dont have to try and crank all the way to the starter. just knock it back,.. then knock it forward again.

Sometimes my fan would come back. sometimes it wouldnt.

its my guess, that my problem is due to the breaker. Wich, actually could be saving the car from a fire. So, I need to replace the electric motor soon.

Anyway, A real quick way to check if your fan is working or not... Turn on your A/C. it should kick on as soon as you do.

Hope some of this helps ya out.

are all your other guages reading correctly? Once I had a bad ground wire and my car was reading very hott and my batt and oil PSI were off from normal. Turned out it was a bad ground wire, once it was fixed it was all back to normal.

Well guys the overflow tank and radiator overflowed today. Im guessing its either the thermostat is defective or the radiator? I just replaced the radiator not to long ago, along with a new thermostat and new head gaskets.. so im about to kill something

are your fan and overflow plugs in all the way?

stupidly when i was messin with my homade cai and kinda wire hiding i unplugged the fan and overflow tank and when i came back i totally forgot about them. needless to say i drove the car around and when i stopped, the pump kept goin and squirted out a bunch of fluid- plugged back in and it was fine.. so that's why i say check the wires/ground

Well guys I refilled my radiator and reserve tank and started it up. The fan did not come on at all, I revved the engine and turned on the a/c still no fan. So if the fan is the problem, would it cause the radiator overflow?

Locate the CCRM on the radiator overflow bracket and look for the #17 pin wire. Take a test light and ground it and then probe into the #17 with the ignition on. It should turn on.
