Help::pep Boys Radiator Install

Remove the lower rubber radiator hold down insulators. The radiator should just fit in the groove down below.

Now just trim the upper rubber mounts to fit. Make sure you don't mix up the sides. 1 side is wider for a reason and needs to stay on that side. I think i just trimmed one ear off the upper mounts and it fit fine

I don't know how your radiator lines up to anything to reference on your car (obviously) or how the radiator is built, but this is what I did...

I got a Fluidyne radiator and after setting it in realized there wasn't a chance in hell that I'd be able to secure the top with the stock mounts. They were miles away from lining up. So I drilled two holes in the top metal frame part of the radiator (NOT the finned area of the radiator itself!) and two in the body of the car and just secured it with two bolts.

I didn't do anything with the lower mounts. I removed the rubber from the top mount and filled the space with Black Silicone rubber that is used for gasket maker. Then I put a piece of Saran Warap on the radiator and bolted down the bracket. Two days later, I removed the Saran Wrap and trimmed the excess Black silicone off.
