HELP! PI intake swap on a 97'

On my 1997 GT there' are two sensors on the coolant runner
on the new one its aluminum and there's only one spot for a sensor. The one closest to the thermostat isnt there? What do I do?

I did the total head swap and intake swap but this part should be the same as mine. You need to get a machine shop to tap a hole in you new intake manifold to fit the second sensor. You should already have a hole on the passenger side of the intake. You now need to tap a hole in the same place on the drivers side of the intake. 96-98 have two sensors in our intakes 99+ don't, they are computer controlled. Hope this helps.

dont need no stinkin machine shop!

get a 3/8" NPT (pipe) tap from any plumbing store. get a 9/16" drill but (and smaller ones), to gradually drill to the size. then use the tap and slowly turn it, backing off each turn. took about 20 min.
