How much lift you can run is going to depend on your valve springs and piston to valve clearance. But lift is only part of the equation. Which AFR heads do you have? What's your compression ratio? What do you plan to do with the car? More information is needed for someone to help you.
Well that all depends on cam timing events. There is no "set in stone" answer. For most off the shelf cams you'll be limited to around .512 lift. With a custom grind there is a different answer. as stated, lift in istelf means nothing. You also need to factor in duration, LSA, and other variables. Plus with the 185 heads, you have 2.02 intake valves and need to measure PTV as you will most likely need to notch the pistons. FInaly, what rockers are you using- 1.6 or 1.7 as that changes lift.
