ok i rechecked my supercharger and the guy didnt sell me a faulty unit. the shop took out bolts to the supercharger and it was comming apart i cant belive they did this. i fixed it it works fine now. the only problem im having is i have the timeing at 10 and when i rev the engine up it revs up slowly and my cars runs really slow also when i try to rev it past 4000 rpms it stops and backfires. what can cause this to happen???

when i turn the timeing up it revs quicker but when i turn it down it revs really slow what could cause this could it be the fmu??? the guy that installed it added a fuel line to my cobra intake manafold that lil thing that sticks out of it that sucks in air for the charcle container. could this be the problem?? could it not have enough fuel??

anyone know im really need help. i connected that piece and tee it to the fuel regulator piece same thing. what can cause this if i turn the timeing up it runs good but when its down its terrible also when i hit 4500rpms my car stops running like it would if you rev to high

The other line looks like a vacum line to the manifold that actuates the fmu under boost then the fmu at a certain psi closes the return fuel line to the tank raising fuel preasure and enrichining the mixture if the fmu is 10:1 that means the fmu for every psi of boost raise fuel preasure by 10 psi im preety sure that what it is. the setup is similar to mine .

ok i understand how the fmu works but the problem im having is that my car revs slow and the timeing is at 10 and when i drive it drives slow when the timing was at 16 the car ran faster and reved better and when i hit 4500rpms no madder what timing it stops running like it hit the end of the rev limit but i know my car can run intill 6 1/2 ive done it before the supercharger went in. could this be not enough fuel or could it be something else??? could the fmu be broken??? what could cause this to happen and why the timeing goes up it runs better i was told never to run a supercharger above 10 timeing

what your plug gap at? may be blowing out spark not letting it rev higher. I wouldnt run above 10 degrees. I personally would also get rid of the fmu and get a chip and bigger injectors. Is there a dyno near you? At the very least id have air fuel checked and try to get it somewhat optimized. Also youre checking timing with the spout out correct?

Also i would take the hose off the throttle body and run a hose off the filler neck to fresh air after the maf but before the supercharger. The way it is now it can pressurize the crankcase which will cause issues including oil leaks. I would just cap the fitting on the throttle body.
