im new to the website and i have a 95 mustang gt vert. im thinking about rebuilding and making it a s/c 347 stroker. my car has the following mods already:

kenne bell supercharger 1.5L 8psi
heavy Duty Manual 5 speed w/short throw shifter
3.08 rear gears
Edelbrock performer aluminum heads w/ O-ring 1.9/1.6
ARP head bolts
fel-pro lock wire gasket
bored 30 over (306)
eagle rods
forged pistons
k&n air filter
Crane Hi-6 ignition system with timing retard and rev limiter
kenne bell switch chip 2 chips in one- street & track modes
E303 cam
80mm massair meter
70mm throttle body
30lbs injectors
155L fuel pump
full length headers
high-flow H-pipe w/cats
2.5"exhaust

The reason y i am planning on doing the rebuild is that i think i spun a bearing. not positive but i have been wanting to do a rebuild soon because the car has 112k miles. So i was just looking for some ideas on what i should do or if i should even go with the 347 stroker with the s/c. i would appreciate any help.

I think you should yank the motor and pull it apart and make sure you dont got a spun bearing, if its not spun you may want to run it till you can get the funds and parts together. If you're looking for suggestion on if you should just go with the 347 and you have the funds, etc. Then I wouldnt hesitate for a second to do it.

that kenne bell might be a limiting factor with the added cubes but then again, the heads are small too. you'll need larger injectors too. you can do it for sure, but you'll probably end up getting a lot bigger parts to make the 347 worth it.

Hey Wheels15 can i ask ya how much power that set up put down? I am getting ready to put a Kenne Bell 2.1 with the Flowzilla intake on a stock 5.0 for now then i am going to build a motor hopefully this spring. I also have the stock 3.08 gears how do they feel with the KB? I was going to change them up to 3.73 but wanted to wait till after the KB to see if that was enough gear. You may be pushing the 1.5 KB pretty good with the 347. I know i was reading on the web site and the bigger cube motors are 2 psi drop because cubes they take. So to get it running good with the motor ya would have to def. have to change pulleys and I would think that would make your intake temp go up?? I just hope i like the KB after all this money im putting into it!

well i never had my car on a dyno but i bought the car of my uncle about a year ago when i turned 17. he said that the car after every thing was put on it was pushing about 400hp and he said he was able to do burnouts through 1,2and 3 gear. so the car with that setup had alot of power but im looking to get more down the road with a new KB because my car has 112k on it and all the upgrades have about 100k so its tired. My uncle laso told me when it was first done he brought it to the track and he said he ran around a 12.6 in the quarter and was told he couldnt run again because it was to fast for a vert. but im just telling u what i was told i never saw this done in my car.
