This is the set-up:

Trick Flow Upper and lower intake (street or track?, how do you tell them apart?)
30# injectors
255lph pump
140amp alt.
powerpipe w/bypass valve
C&L 76mm MAF
BBK 70mm throttle body (does that sounds right? too small?)
Powerdyne BD11A Supercharger (6psi)
Full MSD ingnition 6AL and boost timing master
Mac unequal shorty headers, Off road X pipe and Cat Back
373 gears
Pro. 5.0 Short Shift
2 autometer guages (boost and air/fuel)
and a cold air intake in the fender (90 degree bend in front of the maf)

It goes like a bat out of hell and the air/fuel is usually in the stoich range towards the rich side.

The issue is idle. It cold starts fine and idles fast a first (~1100rpm) but then it kick down and starts to stumble (never stalls) and hunts back up to 1500rpm for a bit and drops back down stumbles and goes back up. The a/f gauge doesn't register at idle but it smells real rich at stop lights.

Is it the MAF? I heard a Pro-M would be better?

Is it a vacuum leak? Lines have been plugged and moved, I'm in the process of finding a diagram to try and figure what has been done.

The PVC is also not connected to the intake before the s/c. Is that a big problem?

The boost gauge sensing line needs to be connected, that is another question I have, wheres the best place to tie into the vacuum?

I'm just want to make sure that the s/c is set up in the best way possible. I don't want to go bigger just optimize what I have.

Any good books or sites on s/c setup?

Thanks and sorry about the long post.

See the sticky "Help me create the Surging Idle Checklist" at the top of the forum for help with your idle problems. The first most contains all the updates to the fixes. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions.

Follow the steps in the sticky. One of them is to dump the codes, the other is to clock the MAF. They will help you isolate the problem.
