im thinking about putting a set of stage 2 n/a cams in my '00 GT and wanted to get some advice on what brands i should consider and maybe some install tips as well as some set-ups that anyone runs on here. Are there any supporting mods required for them to function properly? ive got 4.10s o/r h, catback and intake, should i consider a 70 mm throttle body and upper plenum as well? Valve springs are required with stage 2 correct?
i know that vt is popular but ive heard that you can no longer get them. Any help would be appreciated

what type of power increase did you see going from stock to stage 2 - also what happened to your fuel economy?
Comp Cams Stage II Xtreme Energy XE270AH Camshafts (99-04 4.6L 2V) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!
Is this link - for the stage 2's - the price for 1 cam or 2 cams?

I'm pretty sure thats the price for both cams. I know it says one for quantity but that would just be rediculous if they charged that much for just one cam.

you need to buy the ford tool for the valve springs. its like hundred bucks. and i think you need cam gears since yours has press on cam gears. the valve springs can be a pain and time consuming but i did all of them by myself except for the two on the driver side rear which where a bitch. you need an extra hand with them. you should probably replaced the valve cover gaskets to while your in there.

Valve springs are a must with stage 2 cams.
