Help!!! Turbo swap question

Hey guys, I having some problems with my turbo swap. It's having to do with the wiring part. I have searched on stangnet and turboford and I haven't found a straight answer.

I have a '88 TC manual as the donor for my '93 2.3 auto. I have been looking at many diagrams and I have been using Stinger's website as my main reference. The problem is that it doesn't seem like my wire colors are matching the one on Stingers. This is what is listed on the site to wire in the VAF meter:

MAF wires VAF wires
lt blu/rd----> ltgrn/ppl
tan/ltblu----> wh/bk

black----> black

and then the 4th wire (or/wh) goes to the baro sensor wire.
The colors on my MAF are

Lt Blu/ Red
Tan/Lt Blu
Red
Wh/Green (which looked black until I pulled tape completely off)

So I am not sure which gets wired where.

My next question is about Step 4 on Stingers website (wiring the ignition). Are these connectors on the steering column? I not sure where he is talking about. I can only find 3 of the 6 wire colors and none of them are on the same connector. The ones I see are grey/org, red/lt blu, tan/yel.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks,

Mike

You'll have to compare the 91 to 92 diagrams...the colors are different for every yeat for whatever reason...OR you know two of the maf wires are the same, find the one that is a ground (the black in my diagram) and use it as the black wire, then you only have one left...obvious where it goes.

Ignition wires are in the ignition harness that goes the ENGINE'S ignition...not the switch. The ignition harness for your car connects to the grey sensor (ignition module) on the front of the intake. When looking at the harness bare it should have two skinny and wide 6-8 wire plugs about 8" apart from each other (one is grey, one is black).

I have heard that some of the Mustang quadrant stuff will interchange with the Turbocoupes here is the quadrant and adjuster that I use as well as the source for that info. I can't link you directly to the page that I want but you have to look under Mustangs 1979-01 then to the quadrants nice set up for $49 with the firewall adjuster.
