Help w/ weird noise

When I am sitting at idle with the clutch out (neutral) I get a rattle that sounds like it is coming from under the engine compartment. When I depress the clutch, it stops.

Anyone have any idea what this could be? The car is running fine...

here's my shot in the dark, but it sounds like a clutch problem sorry i can't be of more help, i'd really have to hear it in person

t/o bearing. more mods i add, worse it gets. u can put some grease on it & make it a little quieter.

I think it's your idle dropping to about 500-600 RPM's. My car did that before I parked it and it sounded like it could be the IAC which I hear is pretty common. Watch your tach and I'm willing to be it's from rpm dropping so low.

weird noise

Yeah I had the same problem and my local dealer tells me that alot of people complain abouth this "chatter". It has something to do with the throw out bearing used by Tremtec. When my clutch went the sound got a whole lot louder, once it was fixed the sound was still theri but not as bad as before.
