Starter is good, see my first post.

I tried hand cranking it, mine was a 1" bolt. I pulled and pushed and pulled as hard as I could and nothing happened.

Hate to ask but when your trying to hand crank it, its out of gear right?

And as a side note...do you have full coverage? My mother in law did the exact same thing in her tarus when it was flash flooding one day a couple years back. The insurance company paid to have the dealer put a new motor in.

Yes, its out of gear. The Ebrake is up and the back brakes are still locked if that makes any differance. I do have full coverage but I doubt it covers it. I guess I can give it a shot.

Is your brake power booster filled with water also? Or possibly the brake rod pulled out of the seat in the booster and is lodged crooked?

I got the heads off today. Put it this way, I could see the rings on the #5 cylinder. Rust on the walls on several of the cylinders, bent valves, etc. It wouldn't suprise me to see the crank broke. It definitely through a rod.
