Help with 04 GT

Hey Yall! This is my first post on this thread, however ive been looking at this thread for some time now. Anyhow, i have a 04 gt torch red premium and all that bs. I actually work as a salesmen at a ford dealership, but anyways to my question.. is it at all possible that the "clash/grind" of the TR-3650 transmission applies to the 04 mustang. The TSB says this should have been fixed in 04, but i havnt gotten it up on a lift yet to see the serial numer on the trans. My trans grinds pretty bad almost all the time when its cold going into second, and sometimes in third, and sometimes in second once its warmed up. Any answer or advice would be greatly appreciated. BTW i brought it into the service dept where i work and they gave me the same BS line "can not duplicate problem" --- i work there for gods sakes. Thanks inadvance!

well, in cold weather(20-40dF) my 03 GT grinds pretty bad in second too, but once it heats up there is no problem at all. if i were you i would insist that the dealer check it out, have them run it and see what your talking about, that much tranny trouble isnt normal. i also have no problem in third gear
