HELP WITH 17" COBRA R's OR 18" SALEEN's

Okay guy I need help with a tire/wheel question. Should I go with 17" Corba R's that are 9" FRT & 10.5 RR with Nanhook H405 tires or go with 18" Saleen's with Nexen 3000 tires? I have not heard of the NEXEN tires has anyone else? The Saleens about $100 more then the Cobra's. The car is Laser Red. Thanks

So are you looking at package deals on ebay? If it were me I would be leery of buying an off brand tire. It IS the part of the car that touches the road. I have Fuzion ZRI, which Firestone makes. very good tires so far. BTW the 18s would look better, but the 17s would perform better (rotational mass).

I like the Saleen look better, but the cost of 4 18" tires are insane. Try and hold out for 17" deep dish Fr500s

I agree with you on the Cobra R's. But the Saleen's are played out?!?! No one in my area has Saleen style wheels. I hardly ever see them on a car.

Don't get me wrong i like both choices, but i see alot of v6's running around with both. The saleens 18" used to be my favorite. I just got sick of seeing them everywhere....kinda like the bullitts are now.

Thats intense, i have only seen one car with saleens here... the other 99% have bullits and the other odd 2 or 3 have cobra rims.

The Cobra Rs look better, make sure they are chrome though. I will be getting some next year and I really don't mind if other stangs have them b/c I really like that look.

i have heard of the hankook's and they are supposed to be good tires. Never heard of Nexen though.

Check previous posts..I am almost 100% sure someone asked about nexen tires and they were reccomended...I have fuzion tires also and they have been great tires thus far..deff not a drag strip tire tho hook great on the streeet..

Just think about the cost to replace the tires every 2 years or so. 17 inch rubber is a hell of a lot less expensive then 18 inch rubber. Plus there are more tire options if you stay 17.
